The Entropy of Society

Everybody is aware that dumb people generally tend to have more children than smart people. They also know that their children will generally inherit their “dumbness” and also have more children . . . and the cycle continues. Therefore, the total number of dumb people increases more than the number of smart people.
Aware of these facts, politicians that follow a populist agenda (who call themselves liberals or progressives) take advantage of the situation to get elected by making promises that will bankrupt any economy and eventually hurt the dumb people who elected them.
The slogans that populist politicians use vary with the areas of Earth as well as with local customs, religions and traditions. In impoverished areas the slogans used have words such as humanitarian, socialist, or progressive. Unfortunately, history has taught us that in many cases the transition of power has resulted in cruel and dictatorial governments. For persons who are students of history the events that occurred in the Soviet Union, China, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, Cambodia, etc., should ring a bell.
But I am aware that many people are not fully aware of the meaning of the word entropy, since it is a term used primarily in the field of thermodynamics. Thermodynamics is the field of Physics that deals with heat, work and temperature. If you go to the Wikipedia encyclopedia you will see entropy defined as “a scientific concept that is most commonly associated with a state of disorder, randomness, or uncertainty.” The second law of Thermodynamics states that “the entropy of an isolated system left to spontaneous evolution cannot decrease with time. As a result, isolated systems evolve towards thermodynamic equilibrium, where the entropy is the highest.” In other words, the entropy of the Universe is increasing. This means that the Universe is going toward chaos.
In present day Earth you can see examples of increasing entropy or chaos. In many countries order has become disorder. My theory has always been that the principle of entropy applies to societies also. Recently in USA there have been examples of chaos introduced by liberal politicians when more than 10 million illegal immigrants were allowed by one political party. More than 2,000 years ago the Romans had a highly organized empire and it deviated into chaos. The same can be said for several other empires that had highly organized governmental structures. It seems that the Universe only allows order for discrete periods of time, but eventually entropy increases creating disorder.
